English 9I Know I know how it’s like to fracture a bone. I had never fracture a bone before or been in an emergency room, so it was a scary experience for me. This was the biggest injury that, I ever had in my life. You might think that fracturing a bone isn't a biggie but for me it was. Wearing a cast for four months and the struggles of learning how to use crutches for the first time was gnarly. It all started off on a mellow Monday, my aunt just had picked me and my sister up from my house to spend Memorial Day with her. When we arrived at her house my cousin’s where outside riding their bikes down a hill. I remember the thoughts of “ Wow dude that seem fun!”, going through my head as, I saw them racing each other down a hill. When they asked me and my little sister if, we wanted to race them, we said yes. At first, I wasn't sure it was safe for me and my little sister to race, but with an assumption that nothing happen to none of my cousin’s I thought it was safe. I was racing with my sister and my cousin was racing with his sister. As, I walked up the hill with the bike, I remember getting tired and tireder because of the steepness. When, I reached the top, I sat on the bike and my sister was behind me standing on the pegs. Towards the right my cousin was on his bike with his sister behind him on the pegs. When I heard the words ”Ready set Go!”, that's when, I started peddling. As I felt the wind hit my face, that's when I lost control of the bike. It was going side to side and rapidly going faster my sister was holding tightly on me, with all my intentional, I tried to stop the bike. Stomping my legs as hard as I could on the ground and pushing on the brakes until it stopped. When it finally stopped there was a relief for a minute then the bike tip over. That when, I heard my sister screaming and crying her lungs out. In the moment, I wasn't feeling any pain, thinking that I was okay. When, I turned to my sister her face was half mest up with blood and minor cuts that's when, I tried standing up and discover something was wrong. I stood up for a second but then heard a crack, that's when, I fell downed. During the time my cousin was in the finish line and didn't acknowledge nothing that happened until, I called his named. Seeing us hurt on the floor, he went to call for help aka my aunt. As minutes pass, my aunt comes with her car and takes us to the hospital.
